Nothing
They broke the legs off some off the cabinets in my garage and didn't say anything...
I can't think of anything.
Rough handling of furniture resulted in multiple damages, many of which were not noticed until after they left. Didn't self report major damage items that were known at the time of the damage. Very nice movers and very helpful but a difficult experience overall in terms of quality of handling.
Since I had several smudge marks on my lamp shades and lighter color upholstered chairs, please use clean gloves.
I was told that appliances would be hooked up(none were gas) Then when the workers arrived, they showed me their directive that indicated they were to NOT to hookup/unhook & showed me the order. I have contacted the salesperson on several occasions & not a word back. I sent him copy of what their orders were. The $450 was a lot of time (at my expense) of waiting around for these gentlemen to figure it out. One worker saying he'd never had to unhook a DW to move. Disappointed & pricey for inexperience.
nothing,
We had a piano to move and I wasn't aware that it couldn't be brought upstairs. It might have been nice to know up front that there was that limitation. I was told that I could contact them to have their 3rd party vendor come to move it upstairs if I chose to.
I've used MoveStar for many years to include 5+ moves and two years of storage. Unfortunately this past move, my 3 month old dryer rolled off the back of the truck. I was offered less than $70 for a $800+ dryer. When I objected, I was offered an old set that they had or they would pay for 1/2 of a refurbished dryer or $200. Why would any of those be acceptable when I trusted them with a new $800+ dryer? It's now been almost a month and nothing has been resolved. Yes, the company was within its rights to offer the low sum but that's not how you treat a customer - particularly a good, loyal customer. In this day and age of social media and the ability to give reviews on influential sites, why would a company risk this type of lack of 'ownership' of an incident that was clearly their fault? I'm making my review anonymous because ownership is quite aware of this incident and won't need to 'validate' with my name
Never again! First time was awesome but the last move was a totally failure.
little on the pricey side but worth it
I was not told anywhere in my estimate that I would be charged travel time separate from hourly labor rate. I was aware that you charge travel time from the time they leave shop to the time they get back but not a separate travel time. Here is a copy of the email quote I was sent. I believe it was about 200 more than It should have been. This was From Lance Mize Thank you for inquiring about our exceptional services. We have been in business for over 30 years and are owned/operated by Dallas Firefighters. We are long time members of the Better Business Bureau and have been awarded the best movers in Dallas award multiple times from Angie's List and WFAA. We charge an hourly rate based on the size of the crew sent to a move. The time begins when the crew leaves our warehouse and ends when they get back. We are located at 635 and Midway. All furniture will be padded and shrink wrapped at no additional cost. Any items, such as beds, will be taken apart and put back together. For your move, I would suggest a 3 man crew. The rate for that crew is $140 an hour. The time will be rounded to the quarter hour. Average time for a move this size is about 4-6 hours. If the crew finishes in less than the estimated time, they will charge you the lesser price. The only additional charge is a flat fee of $25 for fuel. An optional fee is additional coverage for your move. You can purchase $5,000 worth of an umbrella coverage with a $250 deductible for a fee of $50. If you wish to decline the additional coverage, that's fine. The state mandated .60 per pound per item then takes over plus we have our own repair facilities for any incidental damage that may occur. Please let me know if you have any questions. Feel free to call or email me anytime to discuss in further detail or to book your move with us. Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I don't have any complaints, however, we still have to move the crates they dropped off.
Maybe be a little more accurate on the time it will take and maybe ask if there are any time restrictions. Also, call the client during the move to see how things are going.

I don't see how--showed up on time, worked hard and were pleasant !
