Movers were very friendly but extremely slow. We paid by the hour and had to pay for 5 hours for a job that should have taken no more than 2 - 2 1/2 hours.
A move that should have easily taken two hours took 3 hours and 15 minutes, even though I only had 8 items to move out: a washer and dryer, a dresser, a bed, a table (no chairs) a couch, a record player and a rug ( and a few boxes that fit in one dolly). The other things were small items I myself carried and loaded and unloaded onto the truck because the two movers were taking so long, had I not helped they could have easily taken 4 or more hours. Additionally, the distance from my apartment to the new storage unit is less than a mile, however, the movers took two hours to load everything, both talking on their phones and staying downstairs for long periods of time as I would even go back and forth faster than them with smaller items. I took less time moving in myself with other movers, considering it was harder then as it was upstairs and this was all moved downstairs. The unloading took less time as expected but by then it was nighttime and they wanted to leave. However, before beginning the unloading, I was told I had to pay for the move in advance, and for their ‘estimated’ four hours- and that I would be refunded whatever time they didn’t use. I had never encountered that before but I paid anyway wanting to just get started. They finished at 6:52 pm, as evidenced by my signature in the contract, (signed at 6:53), and having started at 3:39 pm that should have put me at 3.15 hours. When I originally booked over the phone, I asked about the running special of $199 /2 hours flat rate with no trip fee and $99 every extra hour. (Offered online and also confirmed over the phone) However, I am now being charged for the trip fee and the contract somehow shows the job ending at 7:37pm, 3 hours and 45 minutes, which is incorrect. I’ve called a few times and I keep getting transferred to someone else, I’ve left voicemails, and instead I got an email for a claim of property damage, So far, no resolution or attempt at fixing the overcharge issue. I called and spoke to someone who said I’d been refunded 30 minutes but that the trip fee applies, however, as I’ve said above, as I booked it through the special that’s not the case. I was also told I would get a phone call back to sort it out and that hasn’t happened. While the behavior of the movers was extremely unprofessional as it appeared as though they were taking their time so they could charge more, it is more galling that it would take them as long as it did, especially given that I did not have that many items to move in the first place, being a one bedroom and not having heavy furniture, everything being ready to go and with me assisting in the move itself. It is also incredibly frustrating to have this billing issue, especially since I am being charged for time that wasn’t used in the first place. Finally, I wrote an email explaining everything and asking to get the billing issue fixed and so far no response either. So it appears as though the company doesn’t care to correct overcharges but is in fact overly concerned with charging the customer for services before they are completed, and careless in refunding them as promised.
I’ve used this company several times and have been very satisfied. My last move was the worst. There was one gentleman that was knowledgeable about moving furniture but he was training the other man. The move took forever and a lot went wrong.

They ripped our floors of rental and still have not resolved it. They dropped one of our dressers and tore it up. They did not wrap the furniture as described. One of the trucks was late and then was lost for an hour and only credited 30 minutes. They did not put together any of the furniture. Very disappointed especially since this is the 3rd time we used the company and usually would give a great review. We initially received referral from Nextdoor app. Will definitely note it. Also contact corporate. Especially since we are part of the same networking groups. Please have someone contact me to process the claim of the ripped up flooring so we can resolve it with the landlord at the rental house. Thank you , Kathleen
We have used your firm before, and recommended several other people to use you as well. This move was very tough. We had about the same amount of furniture, number of bedrooms as we had before but yet this move was incredibly slow and very costly. Actually, the time spent on the move was almost double the time and cost as we had last time. The crew was fine, but breaks that begin after only 1 hour and 30 minutes after the move began and the time started is totally unacceptable. We were very upset at the high cost and time spent on this move. We would not recommend your company again to any of our friends. Thank You.
The guys were great! Friendly & very respectful. However, just too expensive! After comparing with others I could have saved about $120.00.

I used your company on Nov 21. That move went smoothly. Israel's crew was efficient and respectful. I used your company again on Dec 15. Domingo and crew did not follow instructions or my requests. They were disrespectful, spent too much time in my bathroom, caught on their phones...I found a Crown Royal bag in the back of the truck, and have evidence of the driver smoking pot on the long drive. Fortunately none of my belongings were damaged or missing. My situation was already stressful and they added to my stress.

Unfortunately I would have to say no. I have moved every year in the last 5 years and this was the longest, most expensive move I've ever had. This was also the only time that I had 3 movers and it still too longer than any other move that had only 2. When they arrived, everything was ready to go but the movers spent hours wrapping EVERYTHING in tons of plastic that was totally unnecessary. Arrived at 9 and didn't leave until almost noon! It was only a 2 bedroom home. Every move I've done here in Dallas took a total of 2.5 hours with only 2 movers. This one took 4 and cost me $500. $200 more over the quoted price. I was so unhappy with it. I just wanted to get it over with. Finally finished unloading at 1pm! VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!
