They were supposed to arrive between 8 and 10 am and they arrived at 10:30. Only one of the three men spoke English. When it comes to moving and what goes where, communication is important. The only English speaker was blaring his music (in Spanish) and when he asked us questions he wouldn’t turn it down, making the language barrier even worse. They were careless- shoving the couch through the doorway to make it fit, dented our fridge, and broke the frame of a dresser. Charged us for hours worked minus a 30 minute lunch break (even though they took an hour). Hooked up our washer and dryer, but mixed the hot and cold water and tightened the bolts so tight I can’t get them lose to switch them.
You could move my piano to Austin, for which I have already paid, and you could replace the 3 damaged floor panels you badly scratched. Otherwise, you did a good job
Tried to get me to move my date of moving because he had his own moving company and would give me a better rate. Left boxes upstairs when I specifically asked to make sure everything was loaded on truck. Mirror in downstairs bedroom was left and when arrived at new apartment my lamp was missing to top to secure the base. I phoned them and they said they looked in the truck but was not there. Told me to make a claim. I used AB movers before and had a great experience but will not use again. I left a 200 dollar tip for the workers did do the work but the other gentlemen who was in charge did not do much work. I hope he shared the tip with them. I also had to call and get my invoice for the move as he only had me sign for payment and did not have me input any data into the tablet. I am sorry to have such a bad evaluation but maybe this will help you in your selection of contractors who you sub out to in the future. Thank you for allowing me to give honest feedback. Pamela Keys
The move took entirely too long - only moved within 5 miles and it took 8 hours and cost almost $1000. They didn't even get everything and I had to end up moving some things myself as well as left a couple of holes in the walls/doors of the house I was moving out of.
The movers were argumentative, rude aggressive and hateful.
All though everyone was nice and courteous, My washing machine was not moved. It was in my quote. My storage closet was almost not moved even when it was on my quote.

I’ve used AB for multiple moves over the past 8 years. I’ve always had a pleasant and dependable experience, however this time was much different. I left all my boxes packed and stacked in the same manner as the last crew. When this move took place they took significantly longer than the last time even though things were left exactly as the last crew had left them. Additionally the crew this time were constantly fighting with each other and arguing. When we arrived the new house I walked up on them getting extremely angry with one another. It was extremely disappointing considering I was moving into a new neighborhood and my neighbors were outside watching. This is the first time that I’ve seen such disinterest and poor customer service from AB but I don’t believe that I would use them again. To make things worse, I called and requested to speak with someone about this matter. Someone took my message and I never received even a call back.

I don't think there's anything to improve. The prices are more than fair. The people who show up to do the moving a very professional and efficient.

I initially asked for Danny’s Crew and I didn’t get them. Perhaps they weren’t available on the days I needed, but no one told me that and I was expecting them. That could have been handled differently. I’m in real estate and intend to specifically refer his crew. Thx.
