I had a 3 man crew. I only had a couch, 2 dressers and washer and dryer that were “large” items to move, anything else was boxes or didn’t get moved. It took them almost an hour to get from the first place to the second, it was a 10 minute drive, I know because I drove it the same time. I’m not sure what they were doing, but because of that I was charged for almost 4 hours I think. Then they were unsupervised for about 30 minutes and moved 3 things. I will give them credit that it was pouring rain, but they definitely took their time on what should have been a very easy move. I was highly disappointed in the services provided. I would not recommend.

recommended two trucks and 6 guys. the move too forever and they were as slow as humanly possible. Ridiculously overpriced and over staffed and hence I was over charged tremendously. bad customer service. the movers left my house trashed-literally, which made me pay more for the cleaning service.
I believed the service was great originally. However, after I referred someone I was told I would receive a $20 gift without asking for anything. I waited a month to get it but that wasn't the problem. I called several times to inquire about it but I kept getting the run around. No one ever returned my call after speaking to multiple people who made promises of a call back. The service is horrible.
Honestly, I'm not sure y'all could improve. Although, I've been taught, there is always room for improvement, I will try to give something. We had to change the day of our move, due to the people buying our house telling us on a Friday that we weren't closing until the next Wednesday. We had just finalized all of the items that needed to be turned off, as well as the time the movers would arrive and the cleaners would arrive. (This was on a Friday at 5:30 PM). So, I panicked. My husband called, and he said he spoke to the nicest person at AB, who was so friendly and said it happens all the time and not to worry. He was able to changed to moving time without a problem. So, even though y'all might have told us that changing dates was not a problem, perhaps that could be stressed more? Although, you may have done that. But, that is the only thing that was an issue in my mind; but it only happened because of the other buyer changing the date at the last minute.

Last crew we used was terrible. Two of the crew members were on celll phones, only one of the crew member appeared to have moving experience. Bottom line...I did this exact move with AB a year ago and it took half the time and cost half as much. There is no reason this move should have taken double the time.
At your recommendation, we hired 2 teams to make the move faster. We had a 3,300 sq. ft. home with only furniture to move (we moved all other items in boxes on our own prior to your arrival.) The new house is 5 minute drive from the old house. It took your 2 teams over 7 hours to complete the move. In addition, there were many times during the move that your employees were talking on their cell phones during the move, were observed many times standing a talking to each other, and the moving in of items seemed very slow to us. Having 2 teams taking 7 hours to complete this job suggests that one team will take 14 hours - which seems completely unreasonable. When I called after the move to notify you about it, your admin sent me a claim to complete rather than deal with this issue. Overall, it took much longer and cost much more than anticipated.
I have used AB Moving twice. The first time was great! The second time I wasn't happy with the crew sent. They damaged 2 pieces of furniture and were not as quick as I expected.
I really cannot think of anything for improvement
The staff did not honor their promise to offer me a discounted rate for being a returning customer. The matter has yet to be resolved and the company has not been in contact with me as promised. I paid a lot of money for my move, so I expected to be treated better, especially as a returning customer. I will never do business with this company again, nor would I recommend them to family or friends.
Just making sure the movers aren’t on their phones during the move because if they delay it cost the customer more time/money.

I got your company sent to me through a third-party. You came and packed me up on a Sunday and took over four hours to do that. They didn’t finish. You came back the next day to finish what small packing I needed done and sent a different team. You then took another 10 hours to move me, which should never have been that long. Your team did not even set up all of my furniture as they were supposed to do. They didn’t even unwrap everything. As I opened the boxes I found multiple breakages, things just thrown in boxes and not wrapped. I was absolutely disgusted and mortified by the way my things were handled. Not only that, one of your team members broke an irreplaceable sculpture and brought it to me and just asked, “where did you get this I need to buy you a new one I dropped it.” I almost cried. This is totally unacceptable. I will be filing a claim shortly. I will never use your services again and I will repeatedly dissuade people from using your services
I have used you guys twice now, but would not again. I had told them of my less than stellar experience last time, and was called constantly by someone in your organization in the days leading up to the move that those situation would not happen again. This time it was worse! Unprofessional staff that don't want to listen to where things go, or how fragile certain items are. They just wanted to plug in their phones and stink up my bathroom. They spent half the time wrapping up non fragile items...which is fine...extra protection never hurt anything...but then didn't even bother wrapping others that WERE fragile. Many items scratched or broken.
Did not tell me correct quote and one of the movers was very unprofessional and complaining. Over priced. Scratched my stuff. Didnt listen to me. Very discusted with this company.

I feel like the movers were slow moving. Also a tremendous amount of time was wasted on shrink wrapping items that did not need to be wrapped. The items were already in storage, and if I did not wrap them, they did not need to be wrapped. Some items included plastic totes with locking functioning lids. They wrapped that. They wrapped a hose. They wrapped a locked gun safe. They wrapped folding tables and chairs. Too many items to count. This was not a long distance move, but less than 1 mile. Then they tried to take the time to unwrap the items. My wife and I stopped them and told them we will take care of it and to keep moving items. When you are paying $100+ an hour there should have been some communication on their part asking if I wanted items to be wrapped up or not. I feel as if my move would have been an hour or two less if they did not waste that time. It’s almost as if they were trying to increase my bill by doing the ridiculous wrapping.
