The booking process fell down and the crew didn’t arrive with any packing supplies. My husband had to run out and get some. The crew didn’t have a great attitude and had to be told several times to wrap things and lift rather than drag them. They caused a lot of damage to our dining table and our child’s crib. Everything seemed like a chore to them. It was like using a different company after our last experience
It was over all not a good experience!!!!!
Travis Wilson of Keller Williams Frisco Star recommended AB Movers to us. We have absolute trust and respect for Travis and know he would be disappointed in our thoughts about A B Moving. Movers were very unprofessional mainly because they let our refrigerator fall flat to the floor. However, they were in unmarked truck, trailer and clothing. There was just something about the way they handled furniture carelessly. The cost of the move far exceeded our expectations, also.
Keep doing what you do best - provide great service.
Timeliness. Window was from 11-2pm and due to running late on first project the moving team got there around 2:30pm. The driver was very friendly and apologetic but still a hiccup on moving day.
We had 3 movers and our move took 5h. Our home was more than half-way empty when the arrived. They would remove chairs one at a time when it would have been more efficient to move more or place them on dolley. They did wrap our furniture well, but efficiency was lacking.
They took eight hours and our furniture was all damaged.
Too expensive and not flexible
Still waiting to hear back from claims department. Movers scratched both new and old home staircases, took a chunk out of the wall in our new home, left two pieces of furniture unassembled without our knowledge. Very friendly movers but a bit frustrated with the quality of move.
The movers (well one of them) openly whined the whole time. I had been given an extra couch and a grandfather clock by a neighbor last minute, so those needed to be moved, too, and he went on and on under his breath about how they weren’t on the list. Also they took apart the base of my bed for no apparent reason (the headboard was off already, and it was sturdier and less likely to break when it wasn’t partially dissembled, and that added a full hour to the move. The last time I used AB moving I had a great experience, and the movers moved all of the same furniture (and a little more), down three flights of tight stairs and into a house in less than 2 hours. This time, the movers took an hour and a half extra to move the furniture from one first floor house to another first floor house while complaining and being generally unfriendly the whole time (again, just one of them, at least in front of me). It was stressful to end up paying an extra 150 dollars, and even more stressful to listen to the guy whine under his breath the entire time. I’ll never hire AB moving again after that experience, even though my first experience was great and I recommended AB moving to multiple people before this move. Bad experience which made a stressful time worse.
Every single piece of furniture was damaged and one of the movers was exceptionally rude. I have never in my life worked with such a joke of a company before.
This company is an outright fraud. Their contract services promise a clean home. I paid extra to make sure areas of concern (dust and simple cleaning) were handled. The company not only did not clean specifically the areas of concern but damaged my carpet in the process. Then when I asked for a refund I was accused of lying and my concerns were disregarded. Never have I been treated in such a horrible manner.
This is my second time using A&B moving, while I enjoyed my first move with them as the guys did a great job and moved quickly, this time around my two man crew was ok for the most part. What really upset me is going back inside to see assembles furniture and loads of plastic that they initially wrapped the furniture in just left all over my place! They didn’t places the only rug I kept in the house correctly and it was just upsetting. For a regular user I might recommend them but for my business as a designer I definitely would not recommend them.
I've moved twice with AB Moving. I used them because they came highly recommended and appear to have a great reputation. The first move at the end of December 2018, they movers really did not know how to pack and protect belongings, the truck broke down (losing three ours), and all in, resulted in movers coming a second day. The second crew packed as poorly as the first. Many damaged and lost items. Received next to nothing on the dollar for the damages and lost material. They do not do a detailed packing list to track what is a part of your move, and in my case, what is also in storage. Second move this last week, another ill equipped and lacking proper skills move crew. They ran out of packing supplies just over half way through the packing ... after I sent a very detailed document of what was being packed, how I wanted it packed for long term storage (so materials/supplies) with each item's dimensions. They had to repack nearly half of my belongs at the warehouse without my supervision, and they say they are charging me for it ... and did. I was told by Mike (a Manager), he would oversee the move and send me a hundred pictures to assure me all was repacked well. Nothing!!! There is more, but I am exhausted and tired.
Nothing noted.
Expensive, broke something, not efficient

In moving process one box we found missing. When I tried to call them next day , person behave like he do not know English. Work wise they were good , but in the end i miss one box ...
suggestions
I felt the crew was tired from a previous job that they did the night before so I do feel I was affected with slower service, which affects the overall payment, so I’m not sure how to address that other than making sure that the crew gets a full 8 hours of sleep, just as they do for flight attendants.
