Return customer because the 1st time I received excellent service. This time not so much. Several items broken, walls nicked and scratched and a promise of replacing a broken mirror but have heard nothing. The mirror should have been taped. Told that guys don't make much on a flat rate. That is not my issue. The flat rate was a better option for us.
We've used AB moving several times and all the previous times have been great. This last experience was subpar. The movers showed up shortly after our 8-10 window. They all reeked of marijuana. They were very slow moving. Our previous move took about 2.5 hours. We only have slightly more this time than the previous and it took them over 5 hours. We had moved a shorter distance this time and with no additional stops. It shouldn't have taken that long. I think this is due to a few factors: One, none of them were over 21. They were a young and inexperienced crew. Two, one of them needed to use the restroom and we obliged. What I thought would be a simple trip for number one turned into the worst smelling number two. You couldn't walk past the bathroom without gagging. Third, one guy cut his finger and got blood everywhere. It was on my floors, on the counters. He didn't have any medical equipment to bandage it. He left bloody rags on our counters and was careless where he left his bodily fluids. Overall it was a terrible moving experience and I expected a much more efficient, professional, and experienced moving crew like we had in the past.
The movers did a great job. However, I never received a quote for any of the work despite for requests. I was supposed to receive a follow-up from the owner of the company and I didn’t hear anything from him either. I had to reschedule several appointments because the person who supposed to provide me with a quote with time frames didn’t do it properly. Again, the movers did a great job I just don’t like the fact that I wasn’t given a quote or accurate times.
As I send an Email and told you earlier that a small pocket size Samsung camera was taken from my home office during the moving and your answer was that I need to file the claim with the police, this is very unprofessional.
We had 3 young men, who we feel purposely took their time. They spent time wrapping items that could've gone in our car such as an iron, pictures, etc. After 4.5 hours, and charging us over $600, to move to a house that was 3 minutes away; my husband and I found ourselves having to move storage bins (several of them)...that should've been added to the truck. We've used AB Moving 3 other times, before this one. We were not happy with this service.
I probably underestimated how much stuff I had to move as I had not completed packing until the night before the move. However, it would have been nice if the movers had taken a look at the amount of stuff to be moved from third floor to third floor and let me know they think it's going to take more than two hours. It ended up being about four hours! It still cost less than every other company, but I wish I had known.
I had a move on Saturday the 23rd and the move didn’t get completed due to the movers not having tools to disassemble my bed frame and washer. Ricardo (the lead mover) stated that they had to previously use other tools to complete a prior job and didn’t want to call the supervisor so they wouldn’t get chewed out. They also left other belongings so other time wouldn’t be wasted. Ricardo stated he called his supervisor and let him know and agreed to come move the rest of my things on Sunday for free. However that still hadn’t happened. In the process of moving my 50 inch tv was damaged. My tv worked perfectly fine but since the tvs were not wrapped I’m sure that’s what caused the damage. I was called by Alex (the supervisor of the moving crew) on Saturday and he stated they would come move my stuff at 12 noon for free however they did not show up. I received a call from one of the workers at 2pm agreeing that they were full and busy and would move my stuff on today -Monday. But I have not heard anything. I’ve called and texted the numbers they have provided and have not received a response. I needed this completed ASAP as I am having to take off of work to get things situated but no one is answering me and wasted plenty of time. I called the moving company and gave my complaint and they stated that I would have to pay for new movers to come and move a bed frame, washer, and 5 bags with a minimum of 2hrs plus a truck fee and there was nothing they could do but file a claim.
Make sure everyone get the telephone number
Several of our furniture pieces were damaged as a result of improper packing and handling. Boxes of personal papers were put in the load, after being told not to take them. We later were told they were shrink wrapped, but they were delivered open. Our big screen tv was not set up and the brackets for our entertainment center were missing, so they did not set that up . Our garage was a dumping place for our Christmas tree, several sets of golf clubs were just thrown on the tree. Our golf club rack was broken, with a clipping shears stuck through the bottom. We are still unpacking, so there could be more. We were rushed to sign off on everything so they could leave, before I could check everything. We used your service in our last move and it was much better, but I will not recommend you again.
My personal belongings weren’t handled with care. It was thrown, pushed, and tossed around like it was junk. I caught the movers multiple times on their cell phones while on the job. After the truck was loaded and was heading to my new apt, they called me and told me they had to stop and get gas. It took almost an hour for them to arrive when the drive is no longer than 20 minutes. Getting the necessities should be done before or after the job. Not during when I have to pay for it. Also, I don’t appreciate I’m paying for 3 experienced movers and I get 2 of them plus a trainee. Who clearly showed he didn’t care about my belongings and showed zero work ethic. If a trainee is involved with no experience, I should have been charged for 2 movers. Not 3
Took a lot longer than expected, especially for a 2 mile move. Piece of furniture was left in the middle of the room and had to call them back in after they left. A mirror was forgotten. Sliders were not reattached to bottom of couch. Payment issues with the credit card slider.

Because the office told me it would be no problem to move my piano but it could not be pu up the stairs in the new house and yet you still charged me the $125. I know that you really don’t care but I would have got a professional piano mover and paid them the $125 instead I now have to go out and hirer one at more cost to me. I will NOT recommend your company to any of my friends.
The movers were an hour late the first day. The second day when they were to be delivering my items, I was told a time window of 8-10 am. They did not show up until 1 pm. When I spoke to their supervisor on the phone he told me that the drivers were never told that time, when they confirmed it with me the day before. I was promised a phone call on Monday (9/17) from the manager that never came. I don’t think it’s right that no one called me about this and the supervisor I spoke to said he couldn’t do anything about it. He couldn’t give me a discount for having to wait 4 extra hours. And they were late BOTH days.
For 3 men they were very slow. I had a 1 bedroom apartment that was 674 square ft and all they had to do was box up the kitchen and clothes in the closets. They left things in cupboards and clothes in closets and I paid $600 . Very upset and would never use them or recommend them to anyone. Summer Hudson
Try to hire movers that not drag their feets to increase the bill, if there is a hourly rate it needs to avoid stoping

Cut down on the number of signatures required for the paperwork. It becomes comical.
It would be nice to be told in advance about tipping. I assumed it was in the pricing. I’m on a budget, so I was unable to tip my guys.

They just weren’t as fast as I hoped. They seemed to want to take their time since they get paid by the hour. A few guys (not all) were riding the clock a bit.
