I have used AB moving multiple times inside the DFW area over the last several years. Always great hard working crews. However, I chose to save maybe 2k in a move to an adjacent state. Again, the crews who packed us were great, and those that delivered also great. However this was not a professional move. We had several things seriously dented (washer, garage storage unit, and other things). Fortunately nothing was completely destroyed. Because of timing, apparently our stuff was offloaded and re-loaded. Not sure why, but I guess that's the process....no wonder it cost so much if the stuff has to be on-loaded/offloaded 4 times. The two trucks showed up, one was a "U-Haul" (really?), and the other was a unmarked contract driver/truck. Again, nice hard working guys, but not what I expected. The scheduling was average and unpredictable. I confirmed with AB staff we wanted delivery on a Saturday, the crew called Thursday saying they were on their way and could deliver Friday morning. We had to change our plans to be ready for a Friday afternoon delivery. The cost started at 6.5k, rose to 8.5k (I know, in fairness we had some LARGE items)....I should have gone with a traditional interstate mover and paid the 10k I was quoted for a pro job. I would not use AB for crossing state lines as even the crew said it was their first time. Always happy with DFW moves many times, but on this cross state move, as advertised they could do, I would not do it again and I am normally quite soft and positive and give good reviews.

Three workers showed up to move us to storage and only one spoke English unfortunately , so it was difficult to communicate and then one of he guys broke the stair moving a dresser from the second floor with no protection of the stairs. We had sold the house so we were quite upset because it left the new owner to deal with issue.

We have used AB Moving 3 times now. The first 2 times they were spot on and very fast. We were very satisfied with the guys that came. The last time they were VERY slowwwwwww. It cost us 2ce as much as the first 2 times and we even caught them on their phones. They were standing around and not hustling like the first 2 times. We were very disappointed. We even bought them lunch.

Paid to have my moving van loaded and tied down. 2 guys and a newbie arrived. They were courteous and began to load. Then it appeared they were running out of rope so I left to buy some. They began to quickly throw stuff in leaving wide gaps that could have been filled in with my belongings. They said they were finished after answering calls from their next job. They did a poor tie down job and left my garage full of items I intended to carry. My friend, a 65+ y/o woman, climbed up into the poorly loaded truck and crawled back to fill in the spaces with my stuff. She and I worked for 8+ hours in the 103 hot, humid garage to finish and then had my lawn man tie down and strap the items from the back. Very disappointed.

To be honest with you I find it hard to recommend due to several reason. First reason is the truck breaking down. I understand not all of this could be helped by the driver especially since I came to understand the workers which came to move us were contracted, but an inspection of the vehicle before moving us should have been done. Next, we asked them to drive a specific route using the Tollway instead of the heavy traffic and construction streets. This was told to the driver after loading everything on the truck on the day off the move as well as Kenny Baker when I booked the appointment 6 weeks in advance. The truck breakdown at between 12:45 PM and 1:00PM. It wasn't till 7:45PM they retrieve a much smaller truck to off load to plus pull the broken truck by rope to our new place. Management never called us back to follow up, to see if there was anything more they could do, possibly refund a portion of the monies paid. BAD MANAGEMENT style. We will paid for 6 hours of labor at $125.00 when I think we should have paid even less, but what do you do when you belongs are still on their truck. The contractors did offer to help setup a few items, but it was 9:30 at night and neighbors already complaining about the moving noise. Management again dropped the ball when they could have offered to come back the next day and help set up. It's been 2 weeks and still no contact from AB Moving. I'm still waiting for a call.

Took a long time to load everything up cause they were trying to wrap everything in plastic including pillows and blankets. Made bringing furniture from upstairs to downstairs look impossible by carrying in awkward positions. Tried to take everything apart probably cause it cost more to do so and takes longer. They get paid by the hour so it was beneficial for them to take longer.

all of my electronic cords(computers, printers, etc. were thrown into a box and nothing was connected back up. I just did not get a good move. furniture was broken, and dishes were broken. I was not satisfied

I cannot think of any changes Inwould make to my moving experience. Our team made the moving process a breeze and I appreciate all their hard work. They are a great asset to the AB Moving team.

They didn’t show up when they were supposed to. Arranged to come the following day take off the half and the trip fee. Took off the trip fee but after the job was done, said, “oh, we can’t take off half because we have a minimum”. So, they did not do as they said “first hour free and deduct trip fee”. They knew how small our job was they should have not said first hour free!! So, they didn’t show up for the first appointment and didn’t call until I made 5 phone calls and an e-mail from me every 15 min. they were late for 3 hours. The ONLY salvation this job had were the very nice (Adam and ?) who came to move the desk. We are an older couple and could not do this job ourselves the cost was high to move a desk but wasting a day waiting for them to show up was even worse.

The lead repersentitive increased the quoted price I was given by $10.00 per hour. They also sat out and extended the job for 5 hours total. They broke some of my stuff.

The reason for the negative is my driveway has not been restored as promised. As soon as a professional crew shows up to clean my driveway, I'm afraid I cannot recommend your services. Please have someone contact me regarding this situation. Thank you, Johnny B
