I had some advanced packing done before our house went on the market. The guys who did that job were great. Based on that experience, we booked our move with AB. The packers and the movers did the first half of the job really well. They were pleasant and worked very hard. However, the second half was another story. The packing became sloppy and we have ended up with a large number of broken or damaged goods.....some very old, valuable, and irreplaceable. Additionally, the packers put things from random rooms in the same boxes, making unpacking a nightmare. Vinegar spilled all over one whole box of kitchen items. When the movers unloaded at our new house, they started off well, but ended up just throwing things in rooms. The back of an antique chair was broken completely through, one piece of furniture was put together with the middle piece upside down......obviously did not fit. We are just lucky that it didn't fall and hurt someone. Multiple silk lamp shades were stacked together completely tearing and ruining the insides of the shades. One bed fell down the first night because the slats were not put in correctly. So many heavy boxes were crammed in the master bedroom closet that it was impossible to get in to unpack them. The washing machine hoses were attached to the wrong temperature of water and water spewed everywhere when it was turned on the first time. Dining room table legs were put on backwards. Had to hire someone to come redo. Some items were wrapped extremely well. Others were hardly wrapped at all. We had really positive expectations and were extremely disappointed in the way some of our possessions were handled. We have a lot of things, but that should not effect the care with which they are packed or moved. A job......small or large......needs to be done with quality service from start to finish. Unfortunately, ours was not.

The movers were friendly and courteous. Called to let me know they would be a few minutes behind schedule because of the 5:00 traffic. They were focused on getting the furniture wrapped securely, and moved it carefully. I was impressed with their attitude and hard work. I have used AB for years, and will continue to do so.

The team was professional, quick, careful with my things coming and going. They were on time and worked consistently. Very pleasant to work with. I would definitely reccomend.

These guys were efficient! They wasted no time in getting my belongings out of my apartment, and I wasn't stuck with a huge moving bill. Very good workers, too -- they really made sure to move things carefully, wrapping my antique furniture prior to the move. Workers were very polite and diligent. Would definitely recommend AB Moving!
