Too slow when being paid hourly

Have guys that knows the area a little better
Didn't like that they used my master bedroom restroom and took longer to move out verses my move in.
Communication with customer
I had no complaints regarding any aspect of my move.
It took longer than I had budgeted for. Wish there was the option to do the flat fee if it were cheaper after the move
Dont hire old men for movers. I moved across the street and it took 7 hours to move me from my 1 BR apartment with an elevator. The movers were unprofessional and to top all of that i had broken dishes, scuff mark on my wood dresser, and marks on other furniture. So HELL NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU!!! Pissed...... O did i meantion i payed over $500 for this shit
Nothing that I noticed
Certain items I did not care if they were wrapped in plastic, and they still took valuable moving time to wrap these items.
Not much - they were great!!
Horrible experience. Bottom line, the movers got to our home at 10 am and left our new home around 12 am with minimal to move. Movers were an hour late and the first comment from the driver was that he had gotten an hour of sleep after clubbing the night before. Once they determined we were not hourly they took their time. We had very little furniture as we were purchasing all new but the entire experience was 14 hours. In my college days I worked for North American so I have some background on what to expect and what to overlook. I had almost all the boxes clearly labeled by room and whether upstairs or down. They were all in the front room. Should have been easy. We were told the third mover was on his second day on the job and they had him moving all of the difficult items ON HIS OWN such as the refrigerators and dressers. As he grinded against my walls on his way out I had to stop what I was doing and basically be your fourth guy. He was coming into the house with a metal dolly and sliding it under boxes on the WOOD FLOOR and scratching the wood. The third mover had some experience but could not be everywhere. The driver had no tools so he had to borrow all of mine - I am still missing my $100 socket and wrench set. We had rented a uhaul for other items and they took our appliance dolly for the bigger items, luckily we found it later before they accidentally took off with it. Now for the bad part, they could not get everything in one truck so they stopped for about two hours on the first haul to get lunch. In the new house, which is a 650k home they scratched walls and took chunks out. Almost ZERO of the boxes for upstairs made it upstairs. And as I left with them still unloading at 5:30 my wife calls frantically to say they are leaving for another job with OUR STUFF STILL ON THE TRUCK. They promised to come back later and unload the rest of our items but my wife does not let them leave until they at least get all of our items off the truck and in the garage. 5 HOURS LATER they show back up sweaty, dirty, and unhappy and rushing to finish. Two beds did not get put back together, three mirrors did not get put back on the dressers, my tools are missing, all the boxes are downstairs - they leave around midnight. Worst consumer experience in my life. James Picquet
I would say they need to communicate better with the customer if the movers are running behind
